Newly released information from the National Stokvel Association of South Africa (Nasasa) indicates that South Africa currently boasts a staggering 810,000 operational stokvels, gathering an approximate annual sum of R50 billion in savings from a membership exceeding 11 million individuals.
There are existing affordable product offerings that are designed to cater to the specific needs of these savings clubs, such as the Finlee Personal Stokvel, which offers stokvels and other savings clubs the opportunity to earn higher interest rates on a contribution basis.
